What the Halloumi Heaven Workshop & Tour involves…

Your guide will pick you up from a location of your choice and you’ll be driven into the villages of the Troodos mountain range to the cheese-making workshop of a local village family to learn the traditional technique of halloumi and anari cheese making. You’ll take part in the process from start to finish while spending time with true locals. You’ll enjoy a tasting of the fresh cheeses made followed by a delicious traditional brunch!

Along the way you we’ll include 3 bonus stops to further explore the mountain countryside… A beautiful, scenic monastery where you’ll have time to roam the grounds and enjoy the views. A winery visit where we’ll tour the premises, learn about the indigenous grape varieties of Cyprus and taste a selection of wines. On our way back into Paphos we’ll stop in the village of Geroskipou to learn about the traditional sweets with a tour & tasting of a small local workshop.

Any applicable entrance fees, tasting fees, door-to-door transport, cheese-making workshop, brunch & drinks are all included in the tour price.

  • This tour takes place every Tuesday from Larnaca, Limassol, Ayia Napa & Protaras, and is 7-8 hours long
  • Please note this is not a private tour, it’s a group tour with a maximum of 7 people on each tour
